In line with her charity work, Meghan Markle will be releasing a clothing line with the intent to help unemployed women find jobs via the Smart Works organization. Proceeds from each purchase will benefit Smart Works and is expected to be released this September.
It will be a workwear collection and she is teaming up with Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Jigsaw (all British retailers) and designer Misha Nonoo to make this a reality. She revealed the project in her Vogue article that she was a guest editor on and said "“[t]aking the idea further, many of the brands agreed to use the one-for-one model: for each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to the charity. Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.” Read more here.
