Prince's Half-Brother & Heir Passed Away

TMZ has reported that Alfred Jackson, the elder half-brother to Prince, passed away in his sleep at the age of 66.

Jackson was an heir to Prince's estate.

Jackson was at his home in Kansas City, MO when his brother, Bruce Jackson (who is unrelated to Prince), discovered him unresponsive around 10:30AM on Thursday, Aug. 29. At this point, authorities believe that he passed away from natural causes and that there was no other individuals involved with his death. According to the TMZ article, "Prince's half-bro[ther] was one of the iconic musician's first family members to speak out in 2016 following his death. Alfred, who had the same mother as Prince, said he hadn't spoken to his brother in years but followed his career and was proud of him."
