It has become a DC tradition for Drink Company to transform their space in the Shaw neighborhood into a Christmas themed wonderland and this year's pop up bar is set to open this weekend!
Miracle On 7th Street will open it's doors for the fifth year in a row on Friday, Nov. 22 and in addition to the festive decorations, a portion of the bar will be decked out into a “candy cane baseball wonderland” to pay homage to the Washington Nationals historic World Series run this year! So what is a “candy cane baseball wonderland” you ask? According to an exclusive interview with washingtonian.com, Special Projects Manager Adriana Salame-Aspiazu says that people can expect giant baseball bats and balls, plenty of red and white and of course, baby sharks.
As for the other rooms, the popular Chinese & movie theme will return with "posters with famous Jewish actors" and a lo-mein photo op while another theme will be decorated with traditional Christmas decor (think Santa, elves, and ornaments).
And of course we can't write about the pop up bar without acknowledging their boozy drinks! Last year's eggnog shot will be back but if that's not your style, maybe the new Son Of A Nutcraker drink will please your tastebuds. Son Of A Nutcracker is made of "Cognac, brandy, and chocolate and mint liqueurs, or a rich red wine-infused hot cocoa."
Miracle On 7th Street is located at 1843 7th St., NW. DC and is open daily through Dec. 31. On weekdays, the bar is open nightly and post Nov. 30, the pop up will open at 1P on weekends.
