Two Popular Excedrin Products Have Been Recalled

If you're taking Excedrin Extra Strength or Excedrin Migraine, you may want to temporarily halt that.

GlaxoSmithKline has announced that those two popular products have temporarily been recalled due to "inconsistencies in how [they] transfer and weigh ingredients," according to a statement obtained by People Magazine. While GlaxoSmithKline doesn't believe that there are any safety risks, they are doing this as a precaution. The recall applies to both the caplet and geltab versions of both medications and while these products will be removed from store shelves, according to the article, other Excedrin labeled products will remain.

“We are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but at this point in time cannot confirm a definite date as to when supply will resume.”
