Garth Brooks isn't letting quarantine stop him from performing!
Today he announced on Good Morning America that he will be hosting "the largest ever one-night show to play at outdoor theaters across the U.S. and Canada." The show will hosted on the screens of 300 drive-in theaters across the United States and Canada on June 27.
"I am so excited to get to play again. I have missed it so much and want to get back to it," Brooks said in a statement. "This drive-in concert allows us all to get back to playing live music without the uncertainty of what would be the result to us as a community. This is old school, new school, and perfect for the time we are in."
Tickets for Garth’s drive-in concert event will go on sale Friday, June 19 (12:00pm ET/11:00am CT/10:00am MT/9:00am PT) via Ticketmaster, which is where you’ll be able to find drive-in theaters in your area. Tickets are general admission and of limited availability – each ticket will admit one passenger car or truck…and events will take place rain or shine starting at dusk. The show will adhere to guidelines recommended by the CDC as well as all state and local health mandates.
