QB Alex Smith Announces Retirement

Washington Football Team v Dallas Cowboys

Fresh off of his Comeback Player of the Year award, former Washington Football Team quarterback Alex Smith has announced that he is retiring from the NFL.

He made the announcement in a video shared to his Instagram page saying that although he has "plenty of snaps" left in him, he "can't wait to see what else is possible."

Smith spent 16 years in the NFL with his last 2 years playing in Washington D.C.
