Gov. Hogan Eases Maryland Mask Mandate

GOP MD Governor Larry Hogan Speaks In NH As He Mulls Presidential Run

While the CDC announced yesterday that those that are fully vaccinated would be able to forgo wearing a mask in outdoor and most indoor settings, Maryland was still hesitant to lift the mandate. Until now.

Gov. Larry Hogan announced during his 5PM press conference on Friday, May 14 that Maryland would be lifting the mask mandate for fully vaccinated individuals effective Saturday, except in schools, healthcare facilities and on public transportation.

It is still strongly suggested that those that are not vaccinated continue wearing masks.

Businesses can still set their own rules of whether or not masks are required to enter their facility, so best to keep one on you in case!

According to CBS Baltimore, 65.4% of the state’s adult population has received at least one dose of a vaccine. More than 2.5 million people are fully vaccinated.
